Turning Green Programs

conscious campus

  • Project Green Challenge a powerful diverse call to action with 30 days of eco–themed challenges in October to shift mindsets and equip students with knowledge resources and mentorship to lead change on campuses and in communities — 300000+ participants over 11 years. 
  • Project Green Course an interactive interdisciplinary virtual course for undergraduate Master’s and PhD students from around the world to explore climate health and advocacy. Emerging leaders engage with and learn from each other academics speakers mentors and innovators.
  • Conscious College Road Tour a unique interactive event on campuses nationwide that engages students, provides hands-on learning, centers consumer and advocacy solutions and prompts behavior change to transition from conventional to conscious living — through an educational experience and Town Hall gathering. The tour visits pre-selected colleges each spring.

Conscious Kitchen addresses food equity education and access shifting the paradigm around school food while cultivating a local ecological food system and building nutrition literacy into meals. Through a collaborative replicable approach CK partners with schools to break the cycle of conventional packaged overly processed food transitioning to fresh local organic seasonal and nutritious meals.

This program is committed to propelling bold and capable environmental leaders working to activate their potential, build their confidence and empower their voices. We work with youth prompting them to develop and implement projects, gain hands on experience and be the change they wish to see in their world. We engage and mentor committed students through year round opportunities funded through donations and grants.
